I just completed my thirteenth John Muir Trail and this time, instead of my usual full-fingered bike gloves, I took along a pair of TRUTAJ gloves.
In the past, I always found that my hands and the trekking poles were a sweaty, slippery mess when hiking for days in the warm Sierra Nevada mountains with trekking poles, but with TRUTAJ gloves, this was not the case. They have a strong grip and were comfortable to use with hiking poles. The TRUTAJ felt cool, especially when dunked in water, with the breathable mesh top acting as an air-conditioning unit.
