Hiking Gallery Bronka Sundstrom is the oldest woman ever to climb Mount Rainier. She did it at the age of 78. She made another attemp in 2013 at the age of 88. She got up to Camp Muir but because of thunder and lightning, her guide decided not to continue. Otherwise Bronka may have made it to the summit.
